Ah, Sprummer—my most underrated season of the year.

Kat Depner wearing Kaiden jumpsuit

Just when spring thinks it’s laid down a firm foundation for the year, summer comes barreling in with its very warm, imminent head and we hit that glorious in-between. We’ve long shed the soggy, pasty lull of winter. The days are longer, and every morning the sun practically bullies me to ignore work and traipse around town with a burrito in hand.

It’s days like this - or maybe it’s just most days - when all I want to do is bask in the majesty of the inviting sun and not think another second about what to wear. But alas, nudity is not an option. And when it comes to effortless, mindless style, there’s nothing better than the perennial hero of transitional weather: the jumpsuit.

The Kaiden Jumpsuit

My Sprummer lifesaver.

This jumpsuit is one of those pieces you throw on and just… exhale, and unclench - burrito in hand, obviously. The fabric drapes in all the right places, the waist cinches just enough to give shape without feeling like a tourniquet, and the legs fall in that subtle barrel that somehow makes your legs look longer without even trying. Basically, it’s doing all the heavy lifting so you can float through your day without a second thought.

And of course - let’s not forget the neckline. This jumpsuit has a tube-style top that feels like a hug from the universe. It’s the crown jewel of the whole outfit: clean, simple, and structured just enough to let your collarbones peek out like tiny works of art. No straps to fuss with, no awkward tugging - just effortless polish that lets the jumpsuit shine.

Sprummer energy unlocked.

If Sprummer had a mood board, this jumpsuit would be it. Strapless, tie-front, and mustard yellow like the sun decided to wear clothes - slide it on and suddenly your arms are free, your collarbones get their day in the sun (pun very much intended) - and you are fully equipped to conquer whatever mildly productive errands or aimless street wandering the day demands.

I admittedly have a contentious relationship with tube tops - they can be a constant tug-of-war - but this one? I put it on, and the mirror clapped. The center twist tie keeps everything exactly where it should be - no babysitting required. And that front tie? So much personality, it makes any necklace, belt, or extra effort completely obsolete. The strapless draws the eye up and creates a natural focal point, letting the top half shine while the wide leg flows behind it. And the best part? It actually moves with you - you can walk, sit, stretch, twirl - whatever your Sprummer day demands - without a single tug.

This is your be-seen piece - bright, playful, and just bold enough to turn a simple day into a moment.

Functional Sprummer chaos, but make it chic.

Confession time - I dress inappropriately often. Open-toed sandals in the snow, heels while moving a friend’s couch down a flight of stairs, a pair of decrepit pink-and-white spandex pants to the San Francisco Nutcracker… I go with my gut, and sometimes that gut is stupid.

But every once in a while - it absolutely nails it.

This is the kind of jumpsuit you wear when your day could go in literally any direction - and you’d like to be prepared for none of it. Equal parts structured and relaxed, it’s got that clean, slightly tailored feel up top - with subtle corset-like detailing that pulls everything in just enough - while the bottom half leans fully into comfort with a drawstring waist and easy, sweatpant-style leg. It’s giving “I might run errands, I might end up on a three-hour walk, I might sit on the floor somewhere” - and somehow, it works for all of it.

What makes this one hit is the contrast. That hint of corset structure up top keeps it polished and pulled together, while the relaxed, almost lounge-y legs keep it grounded and wearable. You get shape without stiffness, comfort without looking like you gave up. It lands right in that sweet spot of effort without effort - the kind that looks intentional, even if you didn’t overthink it.

And honestly? This is the jumpsuit you reach for when your track record suggests maybe - just maybe - we make a practical choice. But not boring. Never boring.

Throw on sneakers, grab a tote, commit to a loose plan at best - and go. This is your get-through-the-day piece - grounded, flexible, and ready for whatever slightly chaotic plan unfolds.

Sprummer Is Here

Three jumpsuits. Three ways to Sprumm.

The exhale, the moment, the in-between. Each one meeting you exactly where you are - whether you want to disappear into comfort, step into the light, or just move through the day with a little more ease.

Because style, at its best, isn’t about perfection - it’s about presence. And in Sprummer, presence looks like sun on your skin, a little breeze, and an outfit that lets you live your life without thinking twice.
